Adele

Adele is one of the world’s best-selling music artists, with over 120 million records sold globally.

She holds the title of the best-selling female artist of the 21st century in the UK and was named the top-selling artist of the 2010s in the US. Her albums 21 and 25 were the two highest-selling albums of the 2010s in the UK and are among the best-selling albums in UK chart history.

In the US, both albums have achieved Diamond certification, making her the only artist debuting in the 21st century to reach this milestone.

Adele’s most recent performance in London was at the BST Hyde Park festival in 2022. Since November 2022, she headlined her Weekends with Adele residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which concluded on November 23 2024, her 100th show.

Summer of the same year, Adele held a 10-night residency titled Adele in Munich, performing to a combined audience of 730,000 fans at a specially constructed Adele Arena. There are currently no plans from Adele to return to music in the near future after she announced she will be taking a ‘big break’ after her final Munich show, but fans remain hopeful after slight social media buzz earlier this year.
