Saracens return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to take on Harlequins in the Gallagher Premiership London derby. The Gallagher Premiership is the premier professional rugby union competition in England. Comprising 10 clubs, it stands as the highest tier in the English rugby union system.
Saracens have won the top division of English domestic rugby six times, most recently in 2023, whilst Harlequins have won twice, with their last title coming in 2020. English stars Maro Itoje and Ben Earl will likely feature for Saracens as they look to get revenge after their defeat to Harlequins at the start of October.
Last year, a huge 55,109 spectators attended the magnificent stadium for the Showdown 3, as Saracens won the match 36-24. That fixture also boasts the distinction of being the most-watched Premiership game in the competition’s 26-year history. The game drew a combined television audience of 1.516 million people, which accounted for a 7.1% share of all British TV viewers at that specific time.
