Athletics has always been a key part of the Olympic Games with legendary athletes taking part each year.

There is a huge range of different events that will take place in the Stade de France including the coveted 100m, relays and all field events.

Athletics legends like Usain Bolt, Mo Farah and Jessica Ennis-Hill have all dominated their respective fields over past years but with all three now retired, Paris 2024 sees a chance for new heroes to make a name for themself on the biggest stage.
