The AIG Women’s Open is a wonderful event taking place each year around the UK.
The AIG Women’s Open, one of the five major championships in women’s golf, was first established in 1976 and is now organized by The R&A.
It will be the first time the Championship will have been held in Wales.
The world’s best golfers will descend on the stunning coastline course – where the sea is visible from every hole – for what is set to be a magnificent occasion, and the 49th edition of the AIG Women’s Open.
Royal Porthcawl has a long and storied history of hosting top-level golf including The Amateur Championship on seven occasions, the Walker Cup in 1995, the Curtis Cup in 1964 and The Senior Open presented by Rolex in 2014, 2017 and 2023.
