Community Shield Hospitality

The Community Shield is the opening match of the season and puts two of the most successful teams of last season up against each other.

Typically at Wembley, the winner of the Premier League will face the winner of the FA Cup to win the first available trophy of the season. This year, the FA Community Shield will be held at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, due to The Weeknd performing at Wembley Stadium.

The winners in recent years have consisted of Manchester United, Arsenal, Leicester City, and Manchester City, with Crystal Palace winning the trophy in 2025.

Crystal Palace secured the victory in a penalty shootout victory over Liverpool, after a 2-2 draw in normal time. It was a brilliant way for Oliver Glasner’s men to start their season.

It is a match that is always sure to two great teams facing each other at the start of the season, a week before the Premier League kicks off.
