The NBA returns to the UK in 2026 for the first time since 2019, making a long awaited return to some of the UK’s biggest venues.

In 2026, the Memphis Grizzlies face the Orlando Magic on Sunday 18 January at the O2 Arena in London, a fascinating match-up between two strong sides.

This marks the first NBA game in the UK since the Washington Wizards defeated the New York Knicks at The O2 in January 2019. Between 2011 and 2019, London played host to annual NBA matchups, and now the excitement returns as top-level basketball makes its long-awaited comeback to the capital.

In 2027, Manchester will also play host to a regular-season match at the Co-op Arena. The teams involved in that fixture will be revealed at the beginning of the season.
