At the time, the competition for the men’s singles No. 1 ranking involved Alcaraz, Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev. Following his win, Alcaraz not only retained the No. 1 ranking but also became the inaugural qualifier for the year-end championships, solidifying his status as a tennis sensation.
