Silverstone Circuit is located in Northamptonshire, close to Towcester. It sits roughly halfway between London and Birmingham and is easily reached from the M1 and M40 motorways. The circuit is surrounded by several well connected towns, including Milton Keynes, Northampton and Banbury, which offer convenient accommodation and transport links for race weekend.

The 2026 British Grand Prix takes place from Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July 2026 at Silverstone. The weekend features three days of Formula 1 action, including practice sessions, qualifying and the main Grand Prix race on the Sunday.

Lando Norris claimed victory at the 2025 British Grand Prix in a memorable race at Silverstone. It was his first Formula 1 win on home soil and a landmark moment for British motorsport fans. His victory created one of the most celebrated racing moments of the season.

Silverstone can be reached by car from both the M1 and M40, with clear signs directing you to the circuit on race weekend. Dedicated shuttle services run from cities such as Milton Keynes and Northampton, and there are rail links from London, Birmingham and many other major UK stations.
