Join us at one of the biggest days of the year at Ascot for the King George Weekend 2026.
With the summer weather making the Ascot racecourse pristine, the first day of the King George Weekend offers a thrilling afternoon of racing.
The highlight of the weekend is the Group 1 King George VI and Queen Elizabeth QIPCO Stakes, Europe’s indisputable midsummer middle-distance showpiece. The race has seen many a great crowned victorious, including Nijinsky, Mill Reef, Brigadier Gerard, Shergar, Nashwan, Galileo and of course the mighty Enable, the only three-time winner. Last year, Goliath (25/1) shocked the field and won the race comfortably.
Taking place just after Royal Ascot, the event is a brilliant option to get a similar standard of racing, but slightly more relaxed in atmosphere.
Like Royal Ascot, the King George Weekend has become a showcase of contemporary summer style, with Ladies encouraged to wear hats.
Private boxes at Ascot are located on Levels 2 to 5 within the Grandstand.
Whether it’s with friends, family or clients, all boxes are catered to the very highest standards and come with a private bar and dining area, a large flat screen TV and private
balcony so you won’t miss a second of the action.
Soak up all of the atmosphere at the stunning Ascot Racecourse in a memorable setting.
