Ascot is located in Berkshire, England, around 25 miles west of London. Ascot was founded in 1711 by Queen Anne who came across the land when riding out from Windsor Castle. The racecourse is rich in history and sees hundreds of thousands of racegoers every year.

The event can be accessed easily by train. South Western Railway runs a frequent service to Ascot from both Reading, Guildford and London Waterloo.

Ladies typically wear smart clothing and hats during the flat season.

Gentlemen will be required to wear a jacket with a collared shirt and tie.
