2027 Betfred Epsom Derby Festival - Day 1

Welcome to The Betfred Derby Festival, widely regarded as the birthplace of thoroughbred racing.

Racing has been held at Epsom Downs since 1661, and The Derby itself has run every year since 1780.

Friday is Ladies’ Day, a day built around style as much as racing, with the course full of racegoers dressed to impress.

The feature race is the Betfred Oaks, a Group 1 contest for three-year-old fillies and one of Britain’s five Classic races.
