Thomas Frank was sacked in February and Igor Tudor’s brief interim spell followed before Roberto De Zerbi was appointed in March on a long term deal, steering the club clear of relegation. De Zerbi leads Spurs into 2026/27.
Brentford finished ninth in 2025/26, once again proving themselves a resilient and well organised Premier League side. The two sides met twice in the 2025/26 Premier League season: Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in December, and Brentford 0-0 Tottenham Hotspur at the Gtech Community Stadium in January.
