How do you get to Villa Park?

Villa Park sits in a well connected spot for transport links, with train the recommended method for most supporters.

Witton is the closest station, only a five minute walk from the ground, with frequent services to and from Birmingham New Street. Aston station is around a 15 minute walk away and served by two rail lines, so trains to and from the city centre run more often. Fans travelling from further afield will usually arrive into Birmingham New Street and take a connecting train to Witton or Aston.

Travelling by bus is also a good option. The 7, 11A and 11C run from the city centre and stop at Witton Square, a short walk from the stadium. On match days the AV82 shuttle, run by Stagecoach, picks up outside Birmingham New Street on Dudley Street and runs direct to the ground, starting three hours before kick off and returning for up to two hours after the final whistle.

Supporters are strongly advised to avoid driving to Villa Park.

Roads around the ground are closed for several hours on match days and the surrounding streets are residential, so on-street parking is heavily restricted. Stadium car parks are permit holders only. Official park and walk car parks are available a little further out, including Y International and King Edward VI Aston School, and should be pre-booked where possible. Allow plenty of time, as traffic delays around the ground are common.
