Arsenal host Hull City at the Emirates Stadium as the promoted Tigers arrive in Premier League action.
Arsenal enter 2026/27 as reigning Premier League champions. In 2025/26 they ended a 22 year wait for the title under Mikel Arteta, sealing it with a game to spare for their first league crown since the Invincibles of 2003/04 and their fourth Premier League title overall. With Arteta still at the helm and Champions League football secured, expectations at the Emirates are higher than ever.
Hull City are back in the Premier League for the first time since 2016/17, having beaten Middlesbrough 1-0 in a dramatic Championship play-off final. This is the first top flight meeting between the clubs since Hull’s relegation in 2016/17. The last time these two sides met in 2017, Arsenal won 2-0 at The Emirates Stadium, with two goals from Alexis Sanchez.
