England v South Africa ODI - Lord's

England play South Africa at Lord’s, the second home ODI fixture of a three match series in September 2025. It was 2022 when South Africa last came to England in the ODI format, with a three match series in July that ended 1-1. Lord’s was not part of that series, but is known as ‘The Home of Cricket’ and one of the most historical and well respected stadiums in global cricket and sport.

Only 7 months later did England play South Africa away, where a standout 347 run total secured South Africa of a 2-1 series win. The English cricket team embarked on two tours to Australia in 2022. Jos Buttler was the player of the series with 261 runs scored across three matches. Harry Brook has been named England Men’s white-ball captain, so expect an explosive batting performance from him.

The other matches for the England v South Africa series are at Headingley on the 2nd September and the Utilita Bowl on the 7th September.

Matches between England and South Africa are always closely fought, and you can expect an incredibly competitive match and series throughout.
