England Nations Championship 2026: Your Autumn Guide to Twickenham

Rugby Tuesday November 3, 2026 By: Joe Horne 4 min read

England’s first autumn fixture in the inaugural Nations Championship takes place this weekend. On Sunday 8 November, England host Australia at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham. The Northern Hemisphere series then runs through to a three-day Finals Weekend at the same ground.

Whether you are planning to watch, book hospitality or simply work out how to get there, this guide covers what you need to know.

What is the Nations Championship?

The Nations Championship is a new men’s international competition. It brings together 12 teams from the Northern and Southern Hemispheres, including England, Ireland, France, Scotland, Wales and Italy from the Six Nations, alongside Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Argentina, Japan and Fiji.

The competition runs in two windows. The Southern Hemisphere series took place in July, and the Northern Hemisphere series is being played in November. A Finals Weekend at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, closes the competition. Teams finishing in the same position on each side of the world play off against one another.

England v Australia, Sunday 8 November

The first autumn match is also the first chance to see England at home in the competition. Kick-off is listed at 3.10pm GMT, which gives you time for a long lunch beforehand. Check the fixture details closer to the date, as broadcasters sometimes move kick-off times.

You can find hospitality for England v Australia on Engage’s event page.

England v Japan, Saturday 14 November

England host Japan on the second Saturday of the autumn series. Japan bring a different style to the Northern Hemisphere sides, so expect a contest that tests England’s attack from start to finish. Keep an eye on the official fixture listings for the confirmed kick-off time.

Hospitality for this match is listed on Engage’s England v Japan event page.

England v New Zealand, Saturday 21 November

The All Blacks visit Twickenham for the penultimate round. Sky Sports lists the kick-off at 2.30pm, and you can check the fixture and form details on its England v New Zealand page.

Engage also has hospitality for England v New Zealand.

Finals Weekend, 27 to 29 November

The Finals Weekend brings six matches across three days at Twickenham. England’s place in the Finals depends on where they finish in the table, so the exact line-up will only become clear once the November matches are played. Check the latest schedule before you book travel or hospitality for these days.

Engage has listed the Finals Weekend on its Nations Championship 2026 hub page, which includes separate Friday, Saturday and Sunday options.

Getting to Twickenham

Allianz Stadium is well connected by rail and Underground. Regular mainline trains run from London Waterloo and Reading to Twickenham station, which is about a ten-minute walk from the stadium. Alternatively, you can take the District Line to Richmond or the Piccadilly Line to Hounslow. On event days, a shuttle bus runs between Richmond station and the stadium.

Hospitality areas are more relaxed than the pitch-side atmosphere, but smart casual dress is advised. Allow extra time on match days, as the roads and stations around Twickenham get busy before and after kick-off.

Following England this autumn

Fixture details, team news and results will change as the series progresses, so it helps to follow a reliable source. Sky Sports lists the full Australia fixture schedule and other Nations Championship dates across the competition.

Broadcast arrangements can also change. Check your TV listings closer to each match to confirm where you can watch.

Booking ahead for the 2027 Six Nations

The Six Nations returns in February 2027. Ireland v England in Dublin opens the championship on Friday 5 February. England’s first home match of the 2027 Championship is against France at Allianz Stadium on Sunday 14 February.

Engage sells official ICON, in Rugby House hospitality for the England v France match. Other packages for the same fixture include British Airways Rose Garden, The East Wing, The Lock, The Gate and the Allianz Suite. Each one offers a different mix of food, drinks, match seating and access, so read the package details before you enquire.

Here is what we suggest when planning ahead:

  • Book early. Packages for Six Nations fixtures at Twickenham tend to sell well in advance, so enquiring early gives you the best choice of seats.
  • Compare packages properly. Check what is included in each, from the bar and food to match seating and post-match access.
  • Plan your group in advance. Work out numbers, dietary needs and travel times before you enquire.
