We are launching an exciting new event product and are seeking a seasoned Head of Sales to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.

Job Summary: As the Head of Sales Ascot, you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy, managing a team of sales executives, and ensuring the successful launch and ongoing success of our new event product. As part of our new contract with Ascot, we’ll be launching a new ICON by Engage product at Royal Ascot 2025. Your role will be key to achieving our ambitious sales targets and delivering the success of this new product and relationship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth for our new event product.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to the sales team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, and trade partners.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and promotional materials?
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to the board and senior management team.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of sales management experience, preferably in the events or venue sales industry.
  • Proven experience in managing and motivating a team of sales executives.
  • Experience working with agents or in trade sales.
  • Ideally, experience in selling for large prestigious events.
  • Strong understanding of the events industry and the unique challenges it presents.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
