Since its inauguration in 1926, the British Grand Prix has been an annual event, consistently held since 1948. Notably, it has been a fixture in the FIA Formula One World Championship’s calendar every year since the championship’s inception in 1950.
In 2023, Max Verstappen of Red Bull successfully fought off an initial challenge from McLaren’s Lando Norris to claim victory in an exhilarating British Grand Prix. This win marked Verstappen’s maiden triumph at this particular event and at the time, extended his impressive winning streak to six consecutive races
