FA Community Shield - Crystal Palace v Liverpool

The FA Community Shield will be played on Saturday, August 9th, as Crystal Palace and Liverpool face off.

Liverpool won the Premier League in the 2024/25 season, following a comfortable campaign in which they were crowned champions in April. Arne Slot’s men will be hoping to start the new season just as strongly, with a Community Shield victory.

Crystal Palace come into the game after their FA Cup Final victory, making history for the club as they won their first ever major trophy. Oliver Glasner’s side have European football to look forward to in the new season and will be hoping to kickstart their year with a second piece of silverware in quick succession.
