Chelsea v Burnley
Recently promoted Burnley travel down to London to play Chelsea.
Chelsea rebounded impressively under Enzo Maresca in 2024/25, securing a fourth-place Premier League finish. They also lifted their first major trophy of the BlueCo era by triumphing in the UEFA Conference League, becoming the only club to complete wins in all three current UEFA competitions.
Burnley returned to the Premier League after just one season in the Championship, and many were intrigued to see how Parker’s side would adapt.
Chelsea claimed 4 points from Burnley in the 2023/24 season, recording a convincing win and a draw. In this fixture last year, Burnley held on to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge, but Chelsea seeked revenge with a 4-1 victory away at Turf Moor.
The Blues will be the favourites going into this game and will look to get the victory against the newly promoted Championship side.
