2024/25 Chelsea v Arsenal
Arsenal make the short trip to West London facing fierce rivals Chelsea. Chelsea have recently appointed Enzo Maresca who will begin his new role at the beginning of July. Maresca worked at Leicester City last year and guided them back to the Premier League.
Chelsea struggled last season finishing in 6th place missing out on the top four by 5 points however their high-flying attacking midfielder Cole Palmer scored 22 goals in the league last season and looks to make another massive impact in the new season as Chelsea look to get back near the top of the table.
Arsenal had a successful season coming 2nd finishing 2 points behind winners Manchester City and securing Champions League qualification. The Gunners will look to get one better and win the league next season.
In their last 5 Premier League meetings, the Blues have only drawn 1 game and lost 4 as their new manager will look to make an impact and turn this around as they aim to have a higher finish than last season and break their duck against rivals Arsenal. This game could be extremely important by the end of the season on who finishes higher than one another.
