The Oval is an international cricket ground in Kennington, located in the borough of Lambeth, in south London. The Oval has been the home ground of Surrey County Cricket Club since it was opened in 1845.

Please note that there is no parking available on match days.

Take the Northern Line to the Oval tube station. The main entrance to the ground is 100 metres on your left on leaving the station. The ground is also a ten minute walk from Vauxhall tube station which is on the Victoria line.

Route numbers 36, 185 and 436 stop outside the ground and other local services stop around the corner. The following buses stop within a 5-minute walk of the ground: 3, 59, 109, 133, 159, 333.

The play is due to start at 11:00 with a scheduled close of play at 18:00(or 90 overs). Lunch is taken at 13:00 and tea is taken at 15:40.

Gates open 2 hours before the first ball for all international fixtures, including Men’s Test Matches.

England’s last Test match before the India series was a one-off test against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. England won this test, with Shoaib Bashir picking up 9 wickets across both innings.
