SUSTAINABILITY POLICY

1)Introduction
At Engage, we recognise our responsibility to conduct business in a way that minimises our environmental impact while promoting social and economic sustainability. We are committed to integrating sustainable practices into our operations, events, and partnerships to contribute positively to our industry and the environment.

3)Environmental Responsibility
To reduce our impact on the environment, we will:

• Minimise business travel by prioritising virtual meetings and using public transport where possible
• Encourage clients and partners to choose sustainable hospitality venues and suppliers
• Implement energy-efficient practices in our office, such as reducing electricity consumption and using eco-friendly materials
• Reduce single-use plastics and encourage reusable alternatives at all events

4)Sustainable Procurement
We will work with suppliers and partners who share our sustainability values by:

• Sourcing services and products from ethical and environmentally responsible businesses
• Prioritising suppliers who have clear sustainability policies in place
• Encouraging the use of locally sourced, seasonal, and sustainable food and beverages for hospitality events 

5)Waste Reduction and Recycling
We aim to adopt a zero-waste approach by:

• Implementing a recycling programme within our office and at events
• Encouraging digital documentation to reduce paper usage
• Donating excess food and materials to local charities where feasible

• Providing staff training on sustainable practices and corporate social responsibility

This policy is endorsed by senior management and will be reviewed annually to ensure ongoing effectiveness. We encourage feedback from employees, clients, and partners to improve our sustainability efforts.
