2024/25 Chelsea v Ipswich Town
Recently promoted Ipswich Town travel down to London to play Chelsea.
Last season Kieran Mckenna brought Ipswich Town back to the top flight for the first time since 2002 by gaining automatic promotion from the EFL Championship.
Chelsea finished 6th in the Premier League just missing out on the top four by 5 points as they face Ipswich for the first time since 2011 when they played them in the FA Cup winning 7-1.
Chelsea haven’t lost to Ipswich since the 21st August 1993 in the Premier League where Ipswich won 1-0.
The Blues will be the favourites going into this game and will look to get the victory against the newly promoted Championship side.
