2023/24 Liverpool v Wolves

Premier League matches are always sure to feature high quality football with some of the biggest names in the world on the team sheets. Games are played in some of the best stadiums on the planet, with great atmospheres to match.

A very slow start to the season for Liverpool in 2022/23 had fans fearing the worst for their season, but stronger second half of the season form led by free-scoring Mo Salah, meant that while a 5th place finish was not ideal, it was not as bad as fans once thought it could have been.

The 2022/23 season will live long in the memory for Newcastle fans, as a great season saw them finish in a UEFA Champions League place. This is the first time they’ve managed to qualify for the competition since the 2002/03 season, so this will be a historic season for the club.

It was a strong finish for Wolves under Julian Lopetegui, as the former Real Madrid took over at a time the club were relegation threatened, to eventually finish in 13th position.

They will be hoping to get back to their form of their first couple of seasons back in the Premier League in 2028 and 2019, when they managed to finish 7th in the Premier League two seasons in a row.
