A very slow start to the season for Liverpool in 2022/23 had fans fearing the worst for their season, but stronger second half of the season form led by free-scoring Mo Salah, meant that while a 5^th place finish was not ideal, it was not as bad as fans once thought it could have been.

The 2022/23 season will live long in the memory for Newcastle fans, as a great season saw them finish in a UEFA Champions League place. This is the first time they’ve managed to qualify for the competition since the 2002/03 season, so this will be a historic season for the club.

It was a 2022/23 season to forget for Tottenham as they only found themselves finishing in 8^th position, their lowest finish in the top flight since 2009.

This came after Antonio Conte was sacked, followed by two poor interim manager spells from Crisitan Stellini and Ryan Mason doing little to steady the ship.

The 2023/24 season is a reason to put things right for the North London club, with no continental competition to focus on, the club will be hoping for a strong league finish by Ange Postecoglou in his first season.
