2023/24 Liverpool v Sheffield United

Premier League matches are always sure to feature high quality football with some of the biggest names in the world on the team sheets. Games are played in some of the best stadiums on the planet, with great atmospheres to match.

A very slow start to the season for Liverpool in 2022/23 had fans fearing the worst for their season, but stronger second half of the season form led by free-scoring Mo Salah, meant that while a 5^th place finish was not ideal, it was not as bad as fans once thought it could have been.

The 2022/23 season will live long in the memory for Newcastle fans, as a great season saw them finish in a UEFA Champions League place. This is the first time they’ve managed to qualify for the competition since the 2002/03 season, so this will be a historic season for the club.

Sheffield United find themselves back in the Premier League for the 2023/24 season after a 2^nd place Championship finish saw them gain automatic promotion, only finishing behind Burnley.

Manager Paul Heckingbottom was very successful in his second full season in charge and will be looking to secure safety in the Premier League for the club.
