2023/24 Liverpool v Burnley

A very slow start to the season for Liverpool in 2022/23 had fans fearing the worst for their season, but stronger second half of the season form led by free-scoring Mo Salah, meant that while a 5^th place finish was not ideal, it was not as bad as fans once thought it could have been.

A late resurgence gives hope for the 2023/24 season and with the right additions in the transfer window, Liverpool can become a team to fear once again.

Burnley will be looking to survive in the Premier League under the leadership of Vincent Kompany, a man widely-tipped to go far in management.

The Clarets won the Championship fairly comfortably in the 2022/23 season, with a new look younger team, and will be looking to carry that form into 2023/24.
