2023/24 Liverpool v Arsenal

A very slow start to the season for Liverpool in 2022/23 had fans fearing the worst for their season, but stronger second half of the season form led by free-scoring Mo Salah, meant that while a 5^th place finish was not ideal, it was not as bad as fans once thought it could have been.

A late resurgence gives hope for the 2023/24 season and with the right additions in the transfer window, Liverpool can become a team to fear once again.

Arsenal will be looking to build on a very positive 2022/23 campaign when they finished 2nd, after a close-fought battle with Manchester City for the title.

Mikel Arteta has impressed many since becoming manager of the Gunners and will be looking for a positive Premier League and UEFA Champions League campaign in 2023/24.
